Archives by July 17th, 2008I had bad surprise by arriving at the Офис this morning to discover that the domain name of a client had been victim of phenomenon of cybersquatting. Practice consisting in recording a domain name corresponding to a mark with the intention of selling retail it then having the right to it or to corrupt its visibility, the cybersquatting developed with the advent of the electronic trade, which introduced on the cloth an economic dimension attracting a lot of desires. But how, while the domain name was recorded and used, was it possible to manage to lose its usage, and which are possible appeals? Because since the appearance of phenomenon, law had to fit and put some conditions in basic principle in attribution of domain names, which obeys with a ruler of first arrived, first served .
